The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for merit scholarships. The deadline for the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 Class 10 scheme (for new applications) is January 10, with the application being verified by the school on January 17.
Similarly, under the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 Class 10 (Renewal 2024) Scheme, which was awarded in 2023, the dates listed above apply. Previously, the deadline for scholarships was December 23.
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship: How to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website — cbse.nic.in
Step 2: Click on ‘Single girl child scholarship X-2024 REG’
Step 3: Then, click on the designated scholarship application link
Step 4: On the new tab, select the type of application — fresh or renewal.
Step 5: Now click on SGC-X fresh application or renewal
Step 6: Fill out the application form, upload documents
Step 7: Submit the Single Girl Child Scholarship application, and download the form for future reference
Under the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme, pupils would receive Rs 500 each month. The monthly tuition fee must not exceed Rs 1,500 per month in Class 10, with a 10% increase in Class 11 and 12.
