JoSAA Counselling 2025: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) plans to disclose the round 1 seat distribution list tomorrow, June 14, according to the official counselling timetable. Candidates who took part in JoSAA counselling 2025 will be able to view their allotment results on the official website josaa.nic.in, using their JEE Main or Advanced login credentials.
The JoSAA counselling process is used for BTech admissions to various government-funded technical institutions, such as Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).

JoSAA counselling 2025 will manage seat allotment for 62,853 BTech seats across the following institutes:
–Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs): 18,160 seats
–National Institutes of Technology (NITs): 24,525 seats
–Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs): 9,940 seats
–Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs): 10,228 seats
The total seat availability across all participating institutes is 62,853.
JoSAA Counselling 2025 Round 1 Merit List: What after allotment results are announced?
After the announcement of the JoSAA Round 1 seat allotment on June 14, 2025, candidates who have been allotted a seat are required to complete the mandatory online reporting process. The online reporting window for Round 1 will be open from June 14 to June 18, 2025.
This includes paying the seat acceptance fee, uploading the required documents, and responding to any queries raised by the verifying authorities.
Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee by June 18, otherwise their allotted seat will be forfeited. In the event of any payment-related concerns, JoSAA has set aside a settlement opportunity on June 19, 2025 to address and resolve any differences. Additionally, if candidates get any questions throughout the verification process, they must respond by the deadline, June 20, 2025.
