The UGC-NET June 2025 exam was administered in Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from June 18 to 21 at various locations around the country. The exam is held to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor positions and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) awards at Indian universities and colleges.
According to the official data released by the NTA, a total of 10,19,751 candidates had registered for the examination. Of these, 7,52,007 candidates appeared for the test. In terms of qualification, 5,269 candidates have cleared the exam for both JRF and Assistant Professorship. Additionally, 54,885 candidates have qualified for Assistant Professor and PhD admission, while 1,28,179 candidates have qualified for PhD admission only.

Step 3: Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
Step 4: Once logged in, the result will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download and save a copy of the scorecard for future reference
UGC NET June 2025 Result: What after results are out?
As soon as the results are revealed, candidates will be able to access their scorecards, which will include total marks, percentile scores, and JRF and/or Assistant Professor qualification status. Cut-off marks for each subject and category will be published alongside the results.
To ensure comparability across shifts, NTA uses a percentile-based normalization process. Candidates who meet or surpass the required cut-offs will be considered qualified.
