ICAI CA Final Exams 2025 postponed: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has amended the Chartered Accountant (CA) September 2025 papers for CA Final and Intermediate, which are slated to be held on September 3 and 4. The ICAI CA September 2025 test has been postponed due to heavy rains and flooding in various Punjab and Jammu cities.
The Chartered Accountants Final and Intermediate examinations, scheduled for September 3 and 4, have been postponed in Punjab cities Amritsar, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mandi, Gobindgarh, Pathankot, Patiala, and Sangrur, as well as Jammu City.
The revised dates will be disclosed in due course, according to the ICAI, which also announced the exam postponement. The candidates are advised to stay in touch with the website of the Institute – icai.org.
The statement further added that other particulars and details as announced earlier, will remain unchanged.
The ICAI CA final exam for Group 1 is scheduled t0 be held on September 3, 6 and 8, and Group 2 is set to be conducted on September 10, 12 and 14.
The intermediate exam for ICAI CA Group 1 will be held on September 4, 7 and 9, 2025 and Group 2 will be held on September 11, 13 and 15.
Paper 6 of CA final exam is of four hours duration. However, all other examinations are of three hours duration. Candidates will get 15 minutes extra time to read the question papers.
The ICAI will conduct the CA September 2025 Foundation tests on September 16, 18, 20, and 22. Papers 3 and 4 of the CA foundation exam will not have any advance reading time, however all other papers and tests will have a 15-minute advance reading period from 1.45 to 2 p.m.
The September 2025 ICAI CA examinations will also be held in nine overseas examination cities: Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, Muscat, and Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
