The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has started the registration process for the CA January 2026 tests for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final programs. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications online using the ICAI site, eservices.icai.org.
The application window without a late cost will be open until November 16, 2025, while forms with a late fee will be accepted through November 19, 2025.
The CA January 2026 exams will be conducted across various centres in India and internationally. The ICAI has recommended candidates to thoroughly fill out their forms and use the correction window if necessary, as changes to exam city and media will be accepted between November 20 and November 22, 2025.
The CA Final Group I exams are scheduled for January 5, 7, and 9, while Group II will take place on January 11, 13, and 16, 2026. For the Intermediate course, Group I exams will be held on January 6, 8, and 10, and Group II exams on January 12, 15, and 17, 2026. The Foundation course examination will be conducted on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026.
A 15-minute advance reading time from 1:45 PM to 2 PM will be provided for all papers except Foundation Papers 3 and 4 and Post Qualification Course papers.

How to apply for ICAI CA January 2026 Exams
Step 1: Visit the official ICAI portal at eservices.icai.org.
Step 2: Log in using your existing credentials or register as a new user.
Step 3: Select the applicable exam (Foundation, Intermediate, or Final).
Step 4: Fill in the required details, including exam city and medium.
Step 5: Upload necessary documents and pay the prescribed exam fee.
Step 6: Review and submit the application form, then download the confirmation page.
Exam fees for ICAI exams
For Indian centres, the examination fee for the Intermediate Course is Rs 1,500 for a single group or unit (except Unit 2) and Rs 2,700 for both groups or Unit 2. For the Final Course, candidates need to pay Rs 1,800 for a single group and Rs 3,300 for both groups.
The Foundation Course costs Rs 1,500, while the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT-AT) and Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examinations each cost Rs 2,000.
Candidates appearing in Indian, Thimphu, and Kathmandu centres would be charged a late fee of Rs 600, while those applying from abroad locations will be charged a US $10 late fee after the deadline.
