The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for many Odisha districts due to cold wave conditions tomorrow.
According to the IMD’s midday bulletin, cold wave conditions are expected to dominate in Cuttack, Khordha, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, and Jharsuguda districts tomorrow.
For January 16, the IMD issues a warning to Kendrapada, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Sonepur, Sundergarh, and Jharsuguda. The IMD has issued yellow alerts for these districts.
“Cold wave conditions are likely to prevail in isolated pockets over districts of Bhadrak, Cuttack, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Dhenkanal, Angul, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Sonepur, Sundergarh & Jharsuguda” , according to the Indian meteorological department’s forecast for January 17. These districts have received a yellow warning.
