Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday to discuss a number of major topics pertaining to the state’s development strategy, such as infrastructure growth and investment promotion.
During the discussion, the Chief Minister is said to have informed the Prime Minister about Odisha’s current and proposed infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on speeding growth in important industries. He also talked about how to increase investment prospects in the state and boost the implementation of public welfare projects aimed at improving service delivery.
Majhi also extended an invitation to Prime Minister Modi to attend the celebrations marking two years of the state government’s tenure. He highlighted what he described as the administration’s “dedicated service to the people of Odisha” during its term.
In a post on X following the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister’s continued guidance and support.
“Grateful for his continued guidance and support as we collectively strive towards the state’s sustained progress and holistic development,” read the Chief Minister’s social media post on X.
The meeting is seen as part of the state government’s ongoing collaboration with the Centre to advance its development priorities and attract more investment to Odisha.
