The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened an online platform for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) applicants to submit their scribe information for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (UG) 2026. According to the NTA’s most recent public notification, the portal opened on June 9, 2026, and will be online for four days, shutting on June 12, 2026, at 11:50 p.m.

Eligible candidates must log in and register as soon as possible before the medical entrance exam, which is planned for June 21, 2026. The exam was first held on May 3, and it was canceled a few days later due to an alleged paper leak.

Meanwhile, officials from the Union Health and Education Ministries, the National Testing Agency (NTA), and the National Medical Commission (NMC) will appear before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday to discuss the conduct of the NEET-UG re-examination, which is scheduled for June 21. The Agency has already made available the city slip for the exam.

The committee has invited the secretaries of Higher Education and Health, as well as top representatives from the NTA and NMC, to offer a full briefing on the re-examination scheduled for June 21. These officials are making their third appearance on a legislative panel, having previously faced questioning from the Education and Government Assurances committees. In previous meetings, they underlined that their immediate focus is to guarantee that the re-exam in pen-and-paper format runs smoothly.
