Today, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended NITI Aayog’s 11th Governing Council Meeting in New Delhi.The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was titled ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047 via Inclusive Human Development’.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister said the meeting brought together Chief Ministers and leadership from across the country for deliberations on human development, good governance, and people’s participation as foundational pillars of national progress.“Discussions reaffirmed that an inclusive, citizen-centric approach is central to India’s development journey,” CM Majhi stated.
He stated that Odisha remains committed to the Prime Minister’s objective of empowering all citizens, building grassroots institutions, and deepening inclusive growth.”Odisha is contributing actively to India’s collective march towards a Viksit Bharat and a Samruddha Odisha,” Chief Minister stated.
The Governing Council is the apex body of NITI Aayog, and it is made up of Chief Ministers from all states, Lieutenant Governors of UTs, and Union Ministers.
