NEET UG 2026 Counselling: What are the required documents?
Candidates should keep the following documents ready while registering and during the admission process:

–Valid photo identity proof.
–Passport-size photographs.
–Category certificate, if applicable.

What happens before the seat allotment result?
After the registration procedure is completed, candidates will be given time to fill out and secure their desired colleges and courses. The order of preferences is critical in the allotment process and should be entered carefully.
When the choice-filling window closes, MCC allocates seats based on a variety of parameters, including the candidate’s NEET UG 2026 rank, category, reservation criteria, seat availability, and preferences provided during counselling.
Before releasing the allotment list, the counselling authority examines candidate data, validates the seat matrix obtained from participating institutes, and completes the technical processing required for seat allocation.
After the seat allotment results are announced, candidates who have been assigned a seat may accept it and report to the institute within the time frame specified.
