The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the correction window for the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2026-27 academic year for students in Classes 10 and 12 on its official site, cbse.gov.in.
The LOC correction window is solely available for associated school authorities. Through this portal, schools can amend the information provided for students participating in the CBSE board exams 2027. Students and parents are unable to directly change the information on the CBSE portal.
As per the recent circular issued by CBSE, the deadline for making corrections is November 7. The board has instructed all associated schools to confirm the information provided by students and correct any inaccuracies within the set timeframe.
The board has requested that parents thoroughly verify the information of their child listed in the Candidate List. They must confirm the student’s name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, and selected subjects.
CBSE has additionally directed that students’ names must be recorded in their full form instead of abbreviations. The board has requested that parents indicate the last names of the students, particularly if they intend to study overseas.
Additionally, the birth date must align with official documents, and passport information should be confirmed as necessary, per the board’s instructions.
CBSE has stated that once the correction window is closed, there will be no additional chance to modify or alter the submitted data.
Should parents or students observe any inconsistencies in the information, they must contact their respective school administrations to have the details corrected before the deadline.
The board is expected to announce the CBSE 10th, 12th date sheet 2027 shortly on the previously mentioned official website.
Students preparing for their board exams are required to keep a close check on the portal for early updates.
