Asthma is a severe respiratory condition in which the respiratory tract swells. With the arrival of winter, both adults and young children become susceptible to this sickness. The primary symptoms of asthma include shortness of breath, trouble breathing, coughing, and chest pain during coughing. Do not ignore asthma symptoms; instead, get treatment at the appropriate time. If asthma is not adequately managed, the symptoms will worsen. According to Ayurvedic specialists, basic Ayurvedic therapies can help regulate asthma symptoms. Here are some Ayurvedic therapies that can help treat asthma.

Basil
Basil contains characteristics that help to eliminate mucus. Its ingestion eliminates mucus from the respiratory tract while also reducing edema. Boil 5-10 basil leaves in water till lukewarm, then add honey and drink. Drinking it once or twice a day relieves coughs and eliminates mucus from the throat. To reap the benefits of basil, you can ingest the leaves straight. Eat 5-6 basil leaves every day, either chewing them or adding them to a salad.
