Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida stated on Friday that the next installment of the Subhadra Yojana would be given on Rakhi Purnima. She stated that recipients whose names were submitted from the districts before July 25 will also receive cash help at the future release.
Parida provided the information while attending the Subhadra Shakti Vision Conference for Developed Odisha 2036, where grassroots authorities working on women’s empowerment met to address important obstacles and future initiatives.
The seminar included meetings with field-level bureaucrats who discussed the challenges they face when implementing government programs and proposed solutions to improve service delivery. The discussions also focused on the support and policy interventions necessary by the department to overcome operational problems and strengthen women’s empowerment initiatives.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that feedback from grassroots workers will help define the Mission Shakti Department’s future roadmap. She mentioned that similar consultations had previously taken place with Community Resource Persons (CRPs) and Master Book Goalkeepers (MBKs) to gain feedback from various levels of the implementation framework.
Based on the ideas from these consultations, the department will create a complete Vision Document for Mission Shakti as part of the state’s “Developed Odisha 2036” strategy. The document is supposed to include ideas for further strengthening the department and increasing chances for women’s socioeconomic empowerment throughout the state.
