With India preparing to face the mammoth prospect of winning on English soil for the first time since 2007, the Shubman Gill-led team will face hosts England in the opening Test at the Headingley Cricket Ground.
According to Accuweather, the opening day of the Test on Friday will be the hottest of the five days, with temperatures anticipated to reach 30 degrees Celsius. Although the temperature will remain relatively stable on Saturday, gusty winds will blow in from the south at a speed of 17 km/h. Sunday will be an exciting day on the pitch, with 91% cloud cover anticipated to shadow Leeds. Strong wind gusts of 54 km/hr are expected.
On Days 4 and 5, the temperature will drop to 21 and 23 degrees, respectively, with a 25% chance of precipitation.
