New Zealand vs. India ODI Highlights: On Friday, New Zealand defeated India by seven wickets at Eden Park in Auckland. The victory also gave the hosts a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. With a target of 307 runs to chase, New Zealand raced to 309 for three in 47.1 overs, thanks to some excellent batting from Tom Latham and Kane Williamson. Latham smashed an unbeaten 145-run knock off 104 balls, while Williamson smashed an unbeaten 94-run knock off 98 deliveries. Meanwhile, for the visitors, debutant Umran Malik took two wickets. The visitors initially posted 306 for seven in 50 overs, with Shreyas Iyer smashing 80 runs off 76 balls.

Shikhar Dhawan also scored 72 runs off 77 balls, while Shubman Gill scored 50 runs off 65 balls. For the visitors, Lockie Ferguson was in fine form, taking three wickets. Meanwhile, Tim Southee also bagged three wickets.
