Arthritis Pain in Monsoon:  Osteoarthritis, a kind of arthritis, is characterized by the breakdown of the joints’ protective cartilage. This results in joint stiffness, pain, and inflammation. There are a few factors that may aggravate arthritis pain during the monsoon. Humidity is a common factor that influences arthritic pain during the monsoon season. High humidity levels can cause physiological tissues, particularly the soft tissues around joints, to accumulate an excessive amount of fluid.

Balanced Diet: A well-balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables helps successfully treat joint discomfort. Include omega-3-rich foods like salmon, walnuts, and flaxseeds in your diet since they have anti-inflammatory properties that can help with joint pain.

Stay Hydrated: One of the simplest and most effective ways to reduce joint pain during the monsoon is to stay hydrated. Consuming enough water maintains the joints healthy and lubricated, reducing the likelihood of soreness and stiffness.

Stay Active: Low-impact workouts like swimming, cycling, or walking can strengthen the muscles that surround joints while also increasing flexibility and decreasing pain.
