NEET UG 2025 Counselling Schedule: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will commence registration for NEET UG 2025 counselling on July 21. The procedure will enable admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and AYUSH programs. Once the registration form is issued, applicants can view it on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The tentative seat matrix, list of participating institutions, and official counselling booklet will all be available on the internet shortly. The NEET UG 2025 results were released on June 14.
Additionally, the process for the state NEET UG schedule will commence from July 21 to July 30 for the State quota and from July 30 to August 6 for AIQ/Deemed/Central institutions.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates who have successfully qualified for NEET UG 2025 are eligible to participate in the counselling process. MCC will conduct counselling for admissions under the following categories:
— 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats
–100% seats at AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, and ESIC institutions
— Institutional quota seats coordinated by MCC
–AFMC and ESIC’s Insured Person (IP) quota
–Admissions to Central and Deemed Universities
NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round one schedule
The procedure begins with the institutes and the National Medical Commission (NMC) verifying the seat matrix on July 18 and 19, 2025. Following that, the registration and payment window will be available from July 21 to July 28, 2025, with payments allowed until noon on July 28. Candidates must finish their payment by the 3:00 PM deadline on the same day.
The option filling phase will last from July 22 to July 28, 2025, finishing at 11:55 PM, and the choice locking process will be available on July 28, 2025, between 4:00 PM and 11:55 PM. The seat allocation process will take place on July 29 and 30, 2025, and the results will be announced on July 31, 2025.
Once the results are released, the shortlisted candidates must report to their respective institutes between August 1 and August 6, 2025. Finally, data verification by the institutes is slated for August 7–8, 2025.
NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Steps to register online
Once registration opens on July 21, candidates can follow these steps to register themselves –
Step 1: Visit the official website: mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the “UG Medical Counselling” section
Step 3: Register or log in using NEET UG credentials
Step 4: Complete the application form and pay the processing fee
Step 5: Upload necessary documents (NEET scorecard, photo ID, category certificate, etc.)
Step 6: Fill and lock your choices of colleges and courses
Step 7: Download the confirmation page for future reference
The MCC letter further ordered all participating institutes and colleges to strictly stick to the approved time schedule. Given the limited time available for conducting the counselling process, all institutes/colleges are instructed to regard Saturdays, Sundays, and Gazetted Holidays as ordinary working days.
