The Odisha Cabinet convened its 38th meeting on Friday in the Conference Hall of Lok Seva Bhavan, presided over by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
Following the meeting, Chief Secretary Anu Garg informed the media on the cabinet’s important decisions.
The conference saw the deliberation and approval of 11 proposals from five departments. One significant decision was the approval of the ₹3,400 crore Atal Bus Stand initiative, which aims to improve public transportation facilities in the state.
The program is expected to considerably improve bus terminal facilities, passenger amenities, and overall public transportation efficiency in Odisha.
Further information on the implementation framework and timetables for the agreed recommendations is expected to be given by the relevant departments in due course.
