To promote educational continuity throughout the summer break, the Odisha government has implemented a “Summer Learning Programme for Students,” which allows pupils to continue their studies via digital platforms.
Lessons will be distributed via WhatsApp, allowing students to easily access study materials from home. The program will serve kids from pre-primary (Shishu Vatika) through Class VIII.
Officials stated that class-specific lessons, along with audio-visual content, will be given to keep students engaged and enable interactive learning over the holiday break. The move aims to prevent learning gaps and promote meaningful academic involvement outside of the classroom.
A precise timeline for the curriculum has also been issued, specifying subject-specific dates for various classes to streamline the learning process.
The initiative is meant to assist students maintain academic continuity and make the best use of their summer holiday.
