Bhubaneswar: As many as 1058 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 69035 samples have been tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.53%.
Khurda district registered highest 376 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (162) and Jajpur (77).
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 994565 with 10428 active cases.

The Health Department also reported 64 more deaths because of COVID-19 as the toll rose to 6887. Khurda district recorded highest 16 fatalities.
