Stock Market Highlights on Thursday, July 23, 2026: The Nifty50 and Sensex extended their losses into the fourth session as oil prices rose due to a further escalation in tensions between the United States and Iran.
The Sensex slid 364 points, or 0.47 percent, to 76,391.39, while the Nifty50 dropped 127 points, or 0.53 percent, to 23,869.60.
Adani Enterprises, Nestle India, and Shriram Finance were the Nifty50 index’s biggest losers.
The Nifty Realty, Nifty Chemical, and Nifty Oil and Gas sectors all had the greatest decrease. Meanwhile, the Nifty Media and Nifty Auto have outperformed.
