Stock Market Highlights on Wednesday, Nov 4, 2026: The benchmark indices rose for the fifth consecutive day, following significant increases in FMCG, real estate, and metal stocks.
The Sensex increased by 383.55 points or 0.5 percent to reach 77,301.40, while the Nifty50 gained 149.75 points or 0.63 percent to stand at 23,960.60.
Bharat Electronics, Adani Enterprises, and Titan Company emerged as the leading gainers in the Nifty50 index.
In the wider markets, the Nifty MidCap 100 increased by 1.55 percent, whilethe Nifty SmallCap 100 jumped by 2.0 percent.
By sector, Nifty IT dropped more than 1 percent, making it the weakest performer, whereas Nifty Media, Nifty Metal, Nifty FMCG, and Nifty Realty excelled.
