Stock Market Highlights on Tuesday, Aug 11, 2026: Benchmark indices fell amid hints of a stalemate in a US-Iran accord and rising crude oil prices.
The Sensex sank 388.19 points, or 0.49 percent, to 78,154.25, while the Nifty50 dropped 112.10 points, or 0.46 percent, to 24,471.70.
The top losers in the Nifty50 index were Tata Consumer Products, Max Healthcare Institute, and UltraTech Cement.
In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap fell 0.02%, while the Nifty SmallCap increased 0.22%.
Nifty Cement, Nifty FMCG, Nifty Realty, and Nifty Metal were the worst-performing sectors. Meanwhile, Nifty Pharma has outperformed.
