Stock Market Highlights on Monday, July 27, 2026: The Nifty50 and Sensex ended a five-day losing trend as oil prices fell after the US and Iran suspended their strikes.
The Sensex jumped 776 points, or 1.02 percent, to 76,835.78, while the Nifty50 gained 229 points, or 0.96 percent, to 23,995.95.
The top three gainers in the Nifty50 were Eternal, InterGlobe Aviation, and Infosys.
In the broader market, the Nifty MidCap and Nifty SmallCap closed 1.11 percent and 1.31 percent higher, respectively.
Sectorally, the Nifty IT, Nifty Media, and Nifty Realty outperformed, while the Nifty Oil & Gas underperformed. The Nifty Realty, Nifty Pharma, and Nifty Metal all ended a three-day losing trend.
