The thyroid gland in our bodies regulates metabolic activity. Thyroid gland dysfunction can result in hypothyroidism, which is characterized by an excess of hormones. It can also induce unexplained weight loss, anxiety, and muscle weariness. It has a slightly different effect on women. Hypothyroidism has a significant impact on a woman’s reproductive system. Women might suffer from underactive or hyperactive thyroid glands at any point in their lives, from puberty to menopause.

5 HABITS TO MANGE THYROID NATURALLY

  1. Iodine Intake: For thyroid issues, proper iodine intake is important. It should should be taken in moderation. It helps in regulating the thyroid hormones in the body.
  2. Active Lifestyle: This is a no-brainer. ensure to do regular exercise or 15-20 minutes of every day to maintain a healthy metabolism. A proper exercise routine can help to reduce thyroid symptoms as well.
  3. Stress Management: Incorporate meditation, and deep breathing exercises to help bring a sense of calm and composure to the body.
  4. Balanced Diet: A nutrient-rich diet is essential to build immunity. Include more of fibre, protein, vitamin -C foods to strengthen immunity and balance thyroid hormones effectively.
  5. Proper Sleep Schedule: Aim for 7-9 hours of good quality sleep. This is the time when the body rests and recovers. Inadequate sleep quality can disrupt the thyroid functioning.

A sedentary lifestyle can result in a variety of health issues. It can also exacerbate pre-existing health conditions. However, making a small effort toward a better lifestyle can have a significant impact. A few of these habits may appear fundamental or general, but how much attention do we pay to them?

As a result, making a few changes to our daily routines can make it easier to live with conditions like thyroid.
