UGC NET June 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon invite applications for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) in June 2024. Interested candidates can now apply through the official UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

According to the official announcement, the last date for submitting the UGC NET online application form has yet to be notified.

UGC NET June 2024 Registration: How to apply

Step 1: Candidates should visit the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in

Step 2: Then click on the registration link on the homepage

Step 3: Fill the application form and pay application fee

Step 4: Click on submit to complete the application process

Step 5: Download the completed application form for future reference.

Candidates will be able to make changes to their information in the online application form after the registration period has closed. The city and location of the exam center will be disclosed once the registration procedure is complete.

The test will be administered in Computer Based Test (CBT) style over multiple shifts. The exam will only be administered by computer-based testing (CBT). The test will consist of two papers. Both tests will be objective in nature, with multiple choice questions, and applicants will have three hours to complete both examinations, which will have 150 questions.

Last year, 9,45,918 candidates registered and 6,95,928 took the December 2023 exam from 292 cities across the country. The exam was taken between December 6 and December 14, with the results announced on January 17.

M Jagadesh Kumar, the Chief of UGC, recently declared that UGC NET marks will be accepted for PhD admissions beginning with the 2024-24 academic session. The outcome will be declared in % along with the candidate’s grades, which can be used for admission to PhD programs.
