Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Saturday that more than 1.23 lakh beneficiaries who were left out of the fourth installment of the Subhadra Yojana in Odisha will receive financial support on May 4.
In a social media post, Parida announced that a total of 1,23,849 qualified beneficiaries who were previously unable to get benefits have been discovered and would be covered by the plan in the upcoming payout.
The state administration had previously asked officials to identify recipients who were excluded from the fourth installment released on March 8 for a variety of reasons. Authorities were entrusted with creating a detailed list to ensure that no qualified recipients are denied the scheme’s benefits.
Notably, over 1.02 lakh beneficiaries received financial assistance totaling Rs 5,000 crore as part of the flagship scheme’s fourth installment on International Women’s Day.
The latest effort aims to resolve implementation gaps and expand the scheme’s reach, which focuses on financial support for women beneficiaries across the state.
