Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has accredited the release of Rs 7.62 crore for 3 districts for the proper management of COVID-19, as per a release by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Thursday.
The CM has accredited Rs 2 crore for Puri, Rs 1 crore for Sonepur and Rs 4.62 crore for Sambalpur districts from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
Puri district had previously acquired Rs 14,59,74,408 for COVID-19 management. With the additional funds, the district has now acquired Rs 16,59,74,408.
Similarly, Sonepur district had previously acquired Rs 2.50 crore. Now, the total amount has gone up to Rs 3.50 crore.
Apart from, Sambalpur district had acquired Rs 11.50 crore earlier. With the release of Rs 4,62,80,692, the total release to the district now stands at Rs 16,12,80,692.
