CTET 2024 Answer Keys: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 answer key, as well as the candidates’ response sheets, on January 1 or 2, according to a senior CBSE official.
“We are trying to release the answer keys by January 1 or 2, and the result will release in the week following the release of the answer key — i.e. around January 6 or 7,” a senior CBSE official said.
CTET 2024 Answer Keys: How to check
Step 1: Go to the official website — ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the CTET 2024 answer key link on the home page
Step 3: Enter your credentials such as roll number and date of birth
Step 4: The provisional answer key will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Download the answer key and raise challenges if required
Step 6: Pay the fees
Step 7: Download the payment receipt for future reference
Once released, the answer keys and response sheets can be checked and downloaded from the official website — ctet.nic.in.
If CBSE accepts the challenge, i.e. if the subject experts find an error in the answer key, a policy decision will be made and the price will be reimbursed. The reimbursement (if any) will be paid online to the relevant credit/debit card account, thus candidates should pay with their own credit/debit card. The Board’s decision on the challenges is final, and no further communication will be heard.
CBSE held the CTET December 2024 exam on December 14 in two shifts, each lasting two and a half hours and consisting of two papers: paper 1 (for Classes 1 to 5) and paper 2 (for Classes 6 to 8).
To pass the exam, students must score 60 percent out of 150. For reserved category candidates, the cut-off is 55%, which equates to around 82 out of 150. Those who pass the CTET will be able to seek employment as teachers in CBSE-affiliated schools.
Candidates who pass the part-I exam are entitled to teach in classes 1–5, whereas those who desire to teach in classes 6–8 must pass part-II.
