CUET UG rescheduled exam admit card released: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit card for the rescheduled CUET UG examination. Candidates who applied for the exam can obtain their admit cards from the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. The rescheduled exam will take place between June 6 and 7, 2026.
The exam was initially scheduled for May 30. It was rescheduled because TCS iON experienced a primary technical breakdown during the morning shift. The candidates had completed biometric registration at the exam centers but returned without taking the exam. The technological problem affected around 3,765 candidates.
CUET UG 2026: How to download admit card for the rescheduled exam
To download the admit card for the rescheduled exam, candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Go to the official website of CUET UG at cuet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘CUET UG 2026 Admit Card’ link.
Step 3: Enter the application number and date of birth or password as login details.
Step 4: Click submit.
Step 5: Download and save the new revised admit card.
Candidates who are taking the rescheduled tests should be aware that they will need the amended admit card to enter the exam hall. Additionally, the shifts and other information indicated on the previous hall ticket are no longer valid. These applicants will have one chance to retake the exam. Furthermore, the NTA has advised TCS iON to investigate the root cause of this technological malfunction and provide a report on it.
Following the event, footage spread on social media showing a large number of people waiting outside exam centers for updates on when the exam will begin. Many parents questioned why the problem was not recognized sooner, while others noted that candidates had to drive a great distance and wait outside in the heat with no information from officials.
