Stock Market Highlights on Thursday, July 3, 2026: The Nifty50 and Sensex extended their gains, with IT, real estate, pharmaceutical, and healthcare stocks providing support.
The Nifty50 was up 0.39 percent, or 95.15 points, at 24,270.85, while the Sensex gained 0.34 percent, or 262.79 points, to 77,763.91.
The top gainers on the Nifty50 index were HCLTech, Max Healthcare Institute, and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise.
In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap dipped 0.19 percent and the Nifty SmallCap increased 0.04 percent.
Nifty Realty emerged as the sector’s top gainer. The Nifty IT, Nifty Pharma, and Healthcare stocks also performed well. The Nifty PSU Bank was the largest laggard.
