The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Class 10 Board Session 1 Examination 2026 results, which show an overall pass rate of 93.70%. Girls once again outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 94.99% to boys’ 92.60%. Students can get their CBSE Class 10 results 2026 via the official websites, cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in, as well as the UMANG app and DigiLocker, using their login credentials. More over 24.8 lakh students registered for the exams, with 24.7 lakh appearing.
Girls had a pass rate of 94.99 percent, much higher than boys’ 92.69 percent. Transgender kids passed with 87.50 percent.
Regionally, Trivandrum and Vijayawada were the best-performing zones, with a pass percentage of 99.79 percent, followed by Chennai with 99.58 percent. Delhi West and Delhi East reported 97.45% and 97.33%, respectively. Guwahati remained the lowest-performing region at 85.32 percent.
In terms of school performance, Kendriya Vidyalayas led with an impressive 99.57 percent pass rate, followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas at 99.42 percent. Private schools had a pass percentage of 93.77 percent, while government and government-aided schools had 91.43 and 91.01 percent, respectively.
