ICAI begins 64th campus placement registrations for April-May 2026: Check city-wise schedule

New addition this year: ‘Standardised orientation; introduced across all centres

The CA Institute has implemented a standardized orientation course for candidates at all centers. The sessions are intended to introduce candidates to the placement process, employer expectations, and career prospects open to Chartered Accountants.

It will also provide interview preparation assistance and practical advice to increase candidate readiness.

The institute has reported high recruiter involvement, with corporations from several industries already enrolling for the campus drive. The placement programme will be held in nine major cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur.

The ICAI conducts a campus placement programs three times a year as a centralized platform for connecting newly qualified Chartered Accountants with employers. In the previous cycle, the institute received nearly 10,200 job offers, with the largest domestic package totaling Rs 32.33 lakh per year.

Prior to the placement cycle, the ICAI ran the CA Career Catalyst Programme 2026 in virtual form from March 15 to March 22. The agenda comprised domain-specific workshops on taxation, finance, auditing, consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and emerging topics such as forensic accounting and offshore accounting. Candidates received training in group talks, HR interviews, and one-on-one mentoring sessions.
