IGNOU registration date extended: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for January 2025 admissions to February 28. Eligible candidates can apply for admission via the official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
To complete the registration process, candidates must provide all required documents in the prescribed manner. IGNOU provides a diverse selection of curricula, including undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses, with admissions available in both the January and June sessions.

Pay the registration cost for IGNOU 2025 and turn in the application.

To apply for admission to IGNOU in 2025, the following paperwork needs to be sent in:
High school (10th) certificates and marksheets, higher secondary (12th) certificates and marksheets, and bachelor’s degree certificates and marksheets are examples of educational certifications.
A valid photo ID proof, such as a passport, driver’s license, or voter ID card.
Present Passport-Sized Images: Two recent passport-sized images.
Category Certificate: if appropriate, a SC, ST, or OBC category certificate.
IGNOU offers over 200 courses in many topic areas, including undergraduate, graduate, diploma, and certificate programs. The majority of admissions are based on the candidates’ final qualifying exam scores. However, certain programs, such as Post-Basic BSc Nursing, MPhil, PhD, and B Ed, require applicants to take entrance exams.
