The Indira Gandhi National Open University’s (IGNOU) School of Journalism and New Media Studies today announced the introduction of a new Post Graduate (PG) diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication. The diploma is available online in three languages: English, Hindi, and Tamil. Interested candidates should apply online at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
To be eligible for this diploma program, you must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The course will be held for one year with an annual fee of Rs 12,500.
The program coordinator, Dr. Shikha Rai, presented the program overview and details of this online program. Other School faculty members were also present to commemorate the occasion.
IGNOU has also recently launched a master’s degree program in environmental studies. Learners will gain knowledge and understanding of the physical, chemical, and biological processes of the environment through this program, which will expose them to theoretical principles involved in air, water, and soil pollution and monitoring systems, emphasize the principles and practices involved in sustainable natural resource management and environmental management, and impart knowledge and understanding of impact assessment, environmental audit, and law.
