NIOS Class 10th, 12th Board Exams 2026: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has issued the test timetable for the Class 10 and Class 12 public examinations in April 2026. Theory exams will start on April 10 and end on May 6, 2026.
The NIOS exams will be held at various exam centers around India. Most papers will be held from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., with some exams ending at 4:30 p.m. Students should check their particular topic timetables for specific timings. The date sheet is available for download from the official NIOS website, nios.ac.in.
Admit cards for registered Class 10 and Class 12 students will be made available on the student portal at sdmis.nios.ac.in before the exams start. Students can view their hall tickets using their own login passwords.
According to NIOS, the results of the April 2026 theory examinations should be available within seven weeks of the final exam date. The board has stated that it will not answer to inquiries about the exact date of the result declaration. The results will be posted on the official website as soon as they are available.
According to data given by the Board, 1,06,082 students enrolled for this year’s paper last year, with 1,02,495 opting for certification by enrolling in at least five topics. Out of them, 89,847 students took the exam, and 56,350 were certified pass, yielding an overall pass rate of 62.72 percent.
The pass percentage for male candidates was 62.31 percent, while female candidates had a slightly better success rate of 63.32 percent.
