Odisha Reports 2640 New Covid-19 Cases and 40 deaths in last 24 hours

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1833 more persons examined positive for COVID-19 within the last 24 hours in Odisha whereas a total of 71039 samples had been tested, yesterday. The Test Positivity Fee (TPR) for the day stood at 2.58%.

Khurda district reported highest 490 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (243) and Puri (139). No new COVID-19 cases had been detected in Boudh and Nuapada districts.
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 967548 with 18914 active cases.

15. Kandhamal: 8
16. Kendrapada: 87
17. Keonjhar: 24
18. Khurda: 490
19. Koraput: 9
20. Malkangiri: 19
21. Mayurbhanj: 59
22. Nabarangpur: 6
23. Nayagarh: 28
24. Puri: 139
25. Rayagada: 11
26. Sambalpur: 23
27. Sonepur: 10
28. Sundargarh: 47
29. State Pool: 94

The Health Department has reported 67 more deaths because of COVID-19 as the toll rose to 5512. Khurda district registered highest 24 deaths.
