Odisha reports 2074 new Covid-19 cases and 65 more Covid-19 deaths

Bhubaneswar: Another 2074 new positive cases of Covid-19 had been detected in Odisha till midnight of Tuesday, reported the Information & Public Relations Department on Wednesday.

Among the new cases, 1192 are in quarantine and 882 are local contacts. With this, the total number of positive cases in Odisha now stands at 945749. District-wise details of the new cases are as under.

As per information from the Health & Family Welfare Department on Wednesday another 65 Covid positive patients in Odisha have succumbed to the disease.

Among the new cases, 1 each from  Angul, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, and Kalahandi; 2 each from Balasore, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Jharsuguda, and Mayurbhanj; 3 from Gajapati; 4 from Nabarangpur; 6 from Puri; 7 from Sundargarh; 10 from Bargarh; and 20 from Khordha.
