Odisha reports 316 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, of which 51 infectees were between the age group of 0-18, informed the State Information & Family Relation (I&PR) Department today.
Of new positive cases from 22 districts, 186 were reported from different quarantine centres and 130 were the local contacts.
Total 63,651 samples were tested yesterday, out of which 316 reports came out positive. With this, the COVID TPR dropped to 0.49%.
The daily COVId cases in Khordha district further declined with 152 fresh cases. While Khordha continues to be in top position in terms of single-day infection, the remaining districts registered below 10 cases in a single day except Cuttack and Mayurbhanj districts.
