Stock Market Highlights on Wednesday, June 10, 2026: The Nifty50 and Sensex gave up considerable gains from the day’s highs as metal, PSU bank, and real estate sectors weighed.
The Nifty50 closed 0.12% or 27.15 points lower at 23,214.95, while the Sensex increased 0.9% or 64.42 points to 73,983.18.
The biggest declines in the Nifty50 index were Hindalco Industries, Coal India, and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation.
The Nifty MidCap and Nifty SmallCap closed 1.49 and 1.33 percent lower, respectively. Sector-wise, the Nifty Media, Nifty PSU Bank, and Nifty Realty underperformed, while the Nifty FMCG, Nifty Private Bank, and Nifty Chemical outperformed.
