Skoda Auto India launched the Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition in India on Monday, with the 1.0 TSI six-speed manual variant priced at 15.99 lakh and the range-topping 1.5 TSI seven-speed DSG unit priced at 19.49 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). The new model pays tribute to the brand’s success at the legendary ‘Queen of Rallies’ and World Rally Championships, as well as its India 2.0 vision.

The Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition has a sporty black design and will be available exclusively in Tornado Red and Candy White. The roof’s glossy carbon steel paint will contrast with the body colours. The vehicle features the signature Skoda grille with a glossy black surround, as well as glossy black ORVMs.
The Monte Carlo edition Kushaq rides on R17 dual-tone Vega 43.18 cms alloy wheels derived directly from the Octavia vRS 245. A Monte Carlo fender garnish replaces the Skoda badge on the new Kushaq. The roof includes an electric sunroof with anti-pinch technology as standard. The carbon steel roof contrasts with the matte black roof rails and dark chrome external door handles below.

The Luxe Interiors of the latest Kushaq carry forward the motorsport heritage with Red and Black dual-tone upholstery and Ruby Red metallic inserts that adorn the width of the dashboard and centre console, continuing on to the front doors.
Red ambient lighting is provided on the front passenger dashboard.
The front seats are ventilated Red and Black leather with ‘Monte Carlo’ engraved in the headrests. The seats in the back are red and black leatherette, with ‘Monte Carlo’ inscriptions on two of the headrests. Red stitching can be found on the door armrests and the one in the centre of the front seat. The leather wrap on the two-spoke multi-function steering wheel is also highlighted with delectable red stitching.
A 20.32-cm Virtual Cockpit with a red theme is located on the driver’s instrument console. The dashboard’s centre contains a 25.4-cm infotainment system with Skoda Play Apps and a red theme. The 1.0 TSI Kushaq Monte Carlo will come standard with a fuel-saving feature called Start-Stop recuperation.
