Stock Market Highlights on Tuesday, July 7, 2026: The Nifty50 and Sensex ended a four-day gain streak as metal and real estate equities weighed.
The Sensex declined 104.35 points, or 0.13 percent, to 78,180.72, while the Nifty50 dropped 31.65 points, or 0.32 percent, to 24,398.70.
Titan Company, Tech Mahindra, and HCLTech were the biggest gainers on the Nifty50 index.
In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap and Nifty SmallCap indices fell 0.3% and 0.55 percent, respectively.
Sectorally, the Nifty IT beat the sectoral averages. The Nifty Consumer Durables and Nifty FMCG both outperformed. Nifty Metal and Nifty Realty underperformed.
